Knee Orthosis (Brace)

is used to stabilize the knee and provide pain relief by restricting range of motion.

Commonly Prescribed Knee Orthoses:

Pull-on sleeve, prefabricated KO
Unloader braces for medial-lateral relief
Knee braces with double uprights (metal) and straps (most commonly used that are either prefabricated or custom made from a cast or measurements

A knee brace is used in managing the discomfort of knee osteoarthritis, and is used as a support that can be worn over or under clothing to reduce knee pain, prevent injuries, and help you recover after an injury.
